Reports To / Supervision

Reports to : Executive Director of Technology / District Support Services; Building Principals. Supervision : day-to-day supervision of Media / Technology Paraprofessionals.

Salary

Salary range : $49,141 - $90,362 per year (based on 1.0 FTE).

Qualifications

• Required : Current Media Specialist license issued by the Minnesota Department of Education (MDE).
• Preferred : Previous related experience; Multi-categorical licenses.

Position Summary

The media specialist reports to the building administrator and the Executive Director of Technology & District Support Services and is responsible for leadership of the building technology and media program, support of the technology and media needs of building staff, assisting teachers in the delivery of media literacy, and oversight of the media center, building network, and building technology.
