Overview

Title : Staff Electrical Test Engineer

This on-site, full-time role is based in Campbell, California at Telos Health, an Imperative Care company. We are developing robotic-assisted technologies and interventional capabilities aimed at improving outcomes for ischemic stroke patients and expanding access to treatment.

What Youll Do

The Staff Hardware Electronics Test Engineer will be part of the R&D team focused on the next generation of robotic products. The ideal candidate will work in cross-functional teams, apply electrical engineering expertise, work independently to solve difficult technical problems, and communicate effectively across engineering teams. You will :

• Design electronic circuit board and robotic subassembly test fixtures that test motion control and sensor circuit performance and reliability, collaborating with firmware, mechanical, and manufacturing engineers to realize complex electromechanical test fixtures.
• Troubleshoot component, PCBA, and system-level electronic failures; maintain detailed records of failures and prioritize test engineering efforts.
• Perform design for manufacturability (DFM) and design for test (DFT) analyses of PCBs, cables, and electronic subassemblies.
• Work with cross-functional teams to define and implement a product manufacturing and test plan ensuring hardware electronics quality and reliability.
• Conduct technical reliability studies and statistical evaluations to develop plans for test methods and design changes to improve product quality and reliability.
• Coordinate EMI / EMC testing and identify design improvements to ensure regulatory compliance (IEC60601-1, IEC60601-1-2, CISPR22, ISO standards for safety and EMC in a regulated environment with UL / TUV / FDA).
• Facilitate board bring-up, test, and debugging of newly designed PCBs.
• Write hardware design verification protocols and develop test vehicles for executing the protocols.

Location & Compensation

Campbell, CA. Salary range : $171,000 $190,000 annually. This range is a guideline and may be adjusted based on experience, location, and other factors. Our total rewards package also includes a comprehensive benefits program.
