Position Title : Critical Power PM Sales Specialist

Reporting to : Sales Manager

Central Power Systems & Services is a privately held company with deep roots going back to 1954. Our Mission Statement is forging long-lasting partnerships by providing first-class customer support. We are looking for a Critical Power PM Sales Specialist to help support that mission.

This sales position focuses on Preventive Maintenance Contracts for our Critical Power Division, including Preventative Maintenance for Emergency Standby Generators by MTU, a Rolls Royce Solution, and other brands.

Responsibilities

• Focus on cultivating sales opportunities with new and existing accounts
• Utilize knowledge of generators to help customers understand the importance of PM contracts
• Develop new relationships with key user groups including electrical contractors, electrical engineers and end users
• Develop key working relationships with local trade associations and user groups
• This is an outside sales position; spend substantial time in the field with electrical contractors, consulting engineers and end-users
• Create and prepare quotations for projects as needed
• Diligently follow through and follow up on every opportunity
• Work with the inside sales staff to manage projects throughout the sales cycle
• Maintain customer data and sales activity in the company's CRM
• Collaborate with other sales disciplines to hand off leads for other products
• After commissioning of every new unit sale, communicate with the branch service department to present a Preventative Maintenance Agreement for aftersales support
• Participate in overnight travel as needed for sales calls, meetings, training, etc.
• Work under deadlines and be flexible in working hours as dictated by customer needs

Physical Demands / Work Environment : This position requires walking, standing, sitting, stooping, bending, kneeling and climbing stairs. It may involve pushing / pulling, twisting, lifting 50+ lbs, and working in varied weather conditions and noise levels. Other tasks may be assigned as needed.
