Overview :

Sentara Norfolk General Hospital, a Level 1 Trauma Center, located in Norfolk, Virginia is hiring for a Registered Nurse for our Vascular and Interventional Recovery area.

Hours / Shift :

Full time. 36 hours / week (Four, 9-hr shifts). Starting at 9 am with one closing shift every pay period. Recovery Department open 9am to 9pm Monday to Friday. Weekend call required between the hours of 7a-3pm every 7th or 8th weekend.

Department / Position Overview :

  • Our department has 25-bed prep & recovery unit, 8 procedure rooms and 2 Vascular Hybrid OR's
  • Nurses in this unit will be cross trained to care for interventional radiology, neuro, and vascular procedures and OR patients.
  • Provide care for patients recovering from both Moderate Sedation and General Anesthesia.
