JOB DESCRIPTION :

The paraprofessional's primary purpose is to assist in improving the academic achievement of all students in grades Kindergarten through 8th grade. Paraprofessionals work directly with certified staff and teacher(s) to assist students in reinforcing Reading and Mathematics skills. Academic Interventionists will also plan, implement, and assess intervention services to ensure fidelity and enable teachers capacity to effectively implement identified core or universal instructional practices for individual students or small groups of students. Academic Interventionists will work alongside classroom teachers in planning and implementing English / ELA and math intervention initiatives through the iReady program.
