Functional Systems Analyst
Provide ongoing maintenance and support for the Slate instances. Understand the capabilities of Slate to map customer requests and requirements to solutions. Analyze business processes and system implementations to identify areas for improvement across functional areas. Translate business requirements into functional specifications. Investigate new system features and functionality to troubleshoot and resolve system issues and implement automation efficiencies. Collaborate with senior analysts to design and implement system modifications and conduct system testing to ensure business continuity. Work closely with senior analysts to test featured rollouts. Develop strong partnerships with business users in various functional areas and ensure appropriate configuration and security within Slate. Customize and build applications, create forms, queries and reports to support all stages of the admissions cycle. Manage annual application updates including configurations, automation, testing, training, and monitoring. Customize CRM functionality to meet institutional needs through workflows, dashboards, and portals.
Respond to Slate support tickets from users and collaborate with stakeholders to troubleshoot issues. Collaborate with stakeholders to understand and document business processes and requirements. Provide necessary training to functional users for new and existing system functionality. Create system configuration documents, detailed functional specification documents, test plans and test cases, user training documents, and implementation documentation.

The Enrollment Management division is a key player in this activity and has a profound effect on the institution's success. The Student Lifecycle Technology (SLT) team works closely with partners within Enrollment Management and is responsible for the administration of the systems of record that support a variety of mission critical activities, consisting of recruitment, admissions, enrollment, advising, billing and payments, financial aid, curriculum management, academic records, and degree completion. The Functional Systems Analyst will be responsible for the configuration, maintenance, and testing of Technologies Slate and will work closely with team members to improve business processes. This includes development of the admissions application, query development, process automation, system maintenance, integration with off-campus systems, staff training, and identifying and developing new Slate functionality.
