Position : Media Center Instructional Assistant

Location : Willow Lake Elementary School

Work Schedule : Part Time, 3 hours / day

Calendar Length : School Year, 185 Days

FLSA Classification : Non-exempt, hourly employee

Hourly Rate : $15.60 ($8,658 Annually)

Beginning Date : 7 / 30 / 2025 for the 2025 / 26 school year

Job Description :

Under the direction of the Media Center Specialist, the Instructional Assistant works with individual and / or small groups of students. Responsibilities include :

• Assist in shelving and organizing Media Center Books & Equipment
• Reading aloud to students

Qualifications :

Physical Demands :

Ability to stand for extended periods, lift and carry 25 pounds, work at a desk or in meetings, see clearly for reading, communicate effectively, operate equipment, and reach in all directions. Physical demands are categorized as Very Frequent, Occasional, or Seldom based on the percentage of time spent.
