Residential Aide

Schedule : Tuesday - Saturday 8AM-4PM ; Off Sunday and Monday

Summary : Under the supervision of the Facility Manager, is responsible for the provision of counseling services on a limited basis ; security, management and orderly functioning of the facility

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES :

  • Provide Feedback to the facility manager concerning all incidents.
  • Documents residents 'participation in morning focus, ensures compliance with all program rules and regulations, and facility security to include head counts and trip logs.
  • Collects logs, and ensures pick-ups by laboratory personnel of all urine samples as specified by Program regulations.
  • Monitor daily signatures on the attendance sheet of all residents.
  • Distribute metro cards as designated via clinical staff
  • Responsible for sign in / out procedures for residents and visitors.
  • Supervise and record all disbursements for medical, janitorial, and laundry supplies.

    • REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • High School diploma and / or GED
  • Effective writing and oral communication skills.
  • F-02 Certification

    • PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

  • Experience working in a congregate living setting.
  • Basic computer skills (e.g. MS Office suite and Windows)
