Location : Corsicana, Texas (75110) – Texas nursing jobs

Healthcare Setting : Labor & Delivery, Postpartum, Nursery (nursery nurse experience preferred)

Employment Type : Travel RN (locum tenens)

Shift : 12-hour nights (18 : 45 – 07 : 15), Sunday-Saturday

Shifts per Week : 3

Hours per Week : 36

Assignment Duration : 13 weeks (Start : 10 / 6 / 2025 – End : 12 / 8 / 2025)

Unit Beds : 14

Patient Ratios : Labor 1 : 1-2, Nursery 1 : 6, Postpartum 1 : 6, Mother-Baby 1 : 3 couplets

Scrub Color : Any solid colors; OR scrubs provided when necessary

EMR : Centricity

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active RN license (Registered Nurse) – Texas or compact state

BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA or ARC required)

NRP certification (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)

Minimum 2 years of recent Labor & Delivery RN experience

Postpartum nursing experience required; nursery nurse experience preferred

Must reside at least 50 miles from the healthcare facility

L&D RN Responsibilities

Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients in Labor & Delivery, Postpartum, and Nursery units

Monitor and support mothers and newborns throughout labor, delivery, and postpartum recovery

Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure safe, effective patient care

Maintain accurate clinical documentation using Centricity EMR

Follow hospital policies and best practices for maternal, newborn, and women's health nursing
