Degree in American Sign Language (ASL) Interpreting, certified ASL Interpreter credentials, and 1+ year of experience as an ASL Interpreter in educational settings. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Professional Sign Language Interpreters are sought for an in-person role in Fort Fairfield, ME, within a dynamic middle school environment. This position focuses on providing essential munication support to a 6th-grade student, facilitating an inclusive educational experience for the uping school year.

Qualifications :

• Certification as a Sign Language Interpreter (NIC or equivalent)
• Proficient in American Sign Language (ASL) with strong munication skills
• Previous experience interpreting in educational settings, particularly with middle school students
• Ability to work collaboratively with teaching staff and other professionals
• Knowledge of educational practices and Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
