Job Description\n

American Traveler is seeking an experienced CT Technologist for an acute care assignment requiring ARRT certification and strong CT and general imaging skills.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

  • Acute care hospital setting within the radiology department
  • Responsibilities include both X-ray and CT imaging exams for inpatient, outpatient, and emergency department patients
  • Typical first shift schedule is 8 : 30 AM to 5 : 00 PM with an 8-hour shift length
  • One weekend shift required per month and holiday coverage as needed
  • Uses GE, Philips, Carestream, and Siemens radiology equipment
  • EMR is Cerner Millennium; Merge-PACS and RIS familiarity preferred
  • Average workload is approximately 100 imaging exams per day
  • No IV starts or on-call duties required
  • Floating between inpatient, outpatient, and ED required
  • Department-specific orientation will be provided
  • Scrubs provided in ciel blue tops and black bottoms
  • Maintain and operate imaging equipment while ensuring safety standards are met
  • Collaborate closely with radiologists and other healthcare professionals
  • Accurately document imaging results and utilize PACS for image management
  • A radiologist is available in-house for support
  • Adherence to all safety and regulatory compliance requirements is expected

  • Graduate of an accredited program in Radiologic Technology
  • ARRT certification required
  • Current BLS certification required
  • Minimum of 2 years of CT experience required
  • Proficiency in general imaging and CT procedures
  • Familiarity with Merge-PACS, Cerner / HIS, and RIS systems preferred
  • Experience with multiple radiology equipment platforms preferred
  • License required if applicable
