Summary

We are looking for an experienced Construction Project Controller to join our Brightline West team. This individual will manage and perform the construction accounting and cost control activities for the Company's infrastructure and vertical construction activities.

Primary Responsibilities

• In coordination with the Construction Management project team, lead the development, preparation, and maintenance of project cost estimation, construction cost accounting, cost control, financial risk management, and contingency determination and management.
• Ensures integration of cost practices and methods, and supports the development of cost management policies, procedures, and performance metrics.
• Coordinates input from Contract Management Specialists and Construction Managers on areas impacting project costs and budget.
• Participates in risk evaluation sessions or preconstruction reviews for major capital construction projects / program in coordination with risk manager and construction management teams.
• Responsible for all activities detailed above, while gathering input from relevant parties and receiving approval from Project Director on areas impacting the development and construction projects.
• Works directly with the VP Capital Projects to prepare monthly project and construction management reports and to coordinate the processing of payments to contractors and vendors.
