Job Title : Oracle ODI Developer Data Engineering & OAC Integration

Location : Cleveland, OH(onsite)

Job Type : Contract / Full-Time

Duration : Long-Term

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced ETL / Data Engineer with strong Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) expertise to design and develop data pipelines that extract and transform data from Oracle Fusion HCM into Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC) and other enterprise data warehouse (EDW) platforms. The ideal candidate must have deep hands-on experience in ODI , Python , PySpark , SQL / PLSQL , and general data engineering workflows.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and optimize ETL pipelines using Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) to move data from Oracle HCM Cloud to OAC and other downstream systems.
  • Work closely with functional teams to understand Oracle Fusion HCM data models and extract relevant HR / Payroll / Workforce data.
  • Develop custom data pipelines using Python and PySpark for data transformation, cleansing, and validation.
  • Integrate data into Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC), Oracle FDI, and other EDW / cloud data platforms.
  • Build scalable ETL frameworks to support analytics and reporting needs.
  • Tune SQL and PLSQL scripts for high-performance data extraction and processing.
  • Support ad-hoc queries and assist data consumers with report-ready datasets.
  • Ensure data accuracy, lineage, and quality across the pipeline.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 7+ years of hands-on experience as an ETL / Data Engineer
  • Expert-level experience with Oracle Data Integrator (ODI)
  • Proven development experience in Python and PySpark
  • Strong understanding of Oracle Fusion HCM data structures
  • Experience integrating HCM data into Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC) and / or Oracle Fusion Data Intelligence (FDI)
  • Excellent SQL and PLSQL scripting and tuning skills
  • Experience working with data warehousing cloud platforms and large-scale data systems
  • Familiarity with version control, scheduling tools, and DevOps processes

    • Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with other Oracle Cloud modules (ERP, Financials, etc.)
  • Familiarity with BI Publisher, OTBI, and other reporting tools
  • Knowledge of data governance and security best practices
