As an unarmed patrol officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and providing a visible presence throughout the facility. You will interact with staff, patients, and visitors, delivering exceptional customer service and clear communication. Job Schedule : DayTimeSat06 : 00 AM - 03 : 00 PM.

What You'll Do :

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Provide customer service to clients, staff, visitors, and patients by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies within the healthcare environment.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing de-escalation techniques as appropriate.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
  • Monitor and report any unusual activity, security-related hazards, or maintenance issues observed during patrols.
  • Assist with access control by verifying identification and / or authorizations as required for entry into restricted areas.
  • Support emergency response activities as directed, including assisting with evacuations or medical emergencies as needed.
  • Document all incidents, observations, and interactions in accordance with Allied Universal protocols.
  • Collaborate with healthcare staff and / or local law enforcement as necessary to address incidents or concerns on site.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Applicants must provide proof of a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 plus years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
