Lead Psychiatrist - locum to Permanent Position in Atlanta, GA
Palm Health Resources, a premier healthcare staffing firm, is currently seeking a dedicated Psychiatrist for a locum to permanent position 30 minutes outside of Atlanta, GA. This opportunity involves treating patients across the lifespan, from pediatric to geriatric, in a Behavioral health treatment center setting.
Location Highlights: Atlanta, GA offers a unique blend of natural beauty, cultural attractions, and a vibrant community. Within this family-oriented town you will also be located just outside of Atlanta in a suburban community. Enjoy outdoor activities, renowned restaurants, arts and entertainment, and a relaxed lifestyle in this picturesque outdoor landscape.
Position details:
- Position type is Temp to Permanent full time position with no weekends
- Patient population adolescents to geriatrics
- Duties: mdication management, patient ducation, perform detoxification protocols and Medical assisted therapy
- Active Georgia License preferred but not mandatory
- Experience is preferred with a minimum of 3 years of experience in a Supervisory position
- Group prefers a candidate with prior addiction medicine experience
- Shifts are Monday through Friday 8 -5 with minimal call
- 50 plus bed facility
- Benefits package includes health, dental, vision, and retirement plan
