What You'll Do
As a Tool Measurement Programmer, you'll be a key player in ensuring the accuracy, consistency, and quality of IMCO's cutting tools. Your work directly impacts tool performance, operator efficiency, and overall production success.
You will :
- Develop, modify, and implement automated measurement programs using Zoller or similar equipment.
- Build standardized measurement routines using parametric datasets.
- Conduct thorough testing to ensure machines operate with precision and reliability.
- Compare automated measurement results with production floor data to validate accuracy.
- Collaborate closely with Engineering, Quality Assurance, and Operations teams to improve tool cycle stability, reduce scrap, and enhance productivity.
- Assist in designing new inspection processes and creating training materials.
- Support the Manufacturing Process Engineer Trainer in teaching others how to use measurement equipment and software.
- Maintain detailed measurement records for quality assurance and compliance.
- Troubleshoot software or programming issues, working with internal teams and external vendors when needed.
- Identify waste in production processes and help implement workflow improvements.

What You Bring
3+ years of experience in toolmaking and tool inspectionStrong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (datasets, functions, queries)Familiarity with Microsoft Office, Teams, and SharePointExcellent analytical and problem ‑ solving abilitiesHigh attention to detail and accuracyAbility to read and interpret tool drawings and geometriesStrong communication skillsAbility to work independently and collaborativelyWage & Schedule
