Interventional Radiology Tech | New Britain, Connecticut

This opportunity is seeking a skilled Interventional Radiology (IR) Technologist to provide exceptional imaging support within a dynamic healthcare setting. Schedule:

• 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM and/or 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM shifts
• Weekends on-call only, every other weekend (EOW)

Qualifications and Experience:

• Current certification in Advanced Specialty Radiologic Technology (ASRT) for IR Tech
• Valid Connecticut Department of Public Health (DPH) License
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Proven experience performing interventional radiology imaging procedures
• Ability to work collaboratively in high-pressure, fast-paced environments

Responsibilities:

• Conduct and assist with interventional radiology imaging procedures with precision and care
• Prepare and maintain imaging equipment, ensuring compliance with safety protocols
• Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and healthcare professionals to deliver accurate diagnostic imaging
• Provide exceptional patient support and education related to imaging procedures
• Maintain detailed records in compliance with regulatory standards
