Diagnostic Radiologist Opportunity in Coastal Southern California

This full-time Diagnostic Radiology role offers a unique rotating schedule with built-in time off and optional moonlighting for additional income. Practice Overview

  • Join a collegial group of 8 radiologists supporting a well-regarded community hospital
  • Mix of day, evening, and weekend shifts with substantial off-time built into the model
  • Subspecialty volume available; high-performing team with internal moonlighting options
  • Overnight reads covered by teleradiology group (12 : 00 am-7 : 00 am weekdays, until 8 : 00 am weekends)

Schedule

  • Flexible setup : fully remote, hybrid (onsite + remote), or fully onsite
  • Three-week rotating schedule with one full week off after evening shifts
  • Annual schedule totals 1,493 hours-roughly 400 hours less than standard full-time
  • Additional 2 weeks PTO accrued annually; weekend shifts occur periodically
  • Compensation & Benefits

  • Base salary of $654,550 with annual productivity-based reconciliation bonus
  • 5% hybrid pay incentive available if partial onsite work is accepted
  • Shareholder track available after ~2 years; partner compensation based on prior performance
  • Full benefits from day one, CME allowance ($3,500), 401(k) match up to 4%, malpractice with tail
  • Candidate Requirements

  • Board-certified or board-eligible in Diagnostic Radiology
  • Open to all experience levels; early-career physicians encouraged to apply
