Accounts Payable Clerk
A. Job Responsibilities
As an Accounts Payable Clerk, you will handle the daily processing of invoices while providing excellent customer service by answering all vendor inquiries and maintaining a high level of attention to detail. In addition, this role will provide accounting and clerical support to the accounting department by compiling and maintaining accounts payable records.

C. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned
Process incoming invoices, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and provide customer service to vendors.Verify and reconcile invoice discrepancies and resolve any payment issuesEnter invoice data into the accounting systemMaintain and update vendor files, including contact information and payment termsRespond to vendor inquiries in a timely and professional mannerFollow up on AP IssuesMaintain all accounts payable reports, spreadsheets, and accounts payable filesDistribute and mail signed checks as requiredReconcile vendor statementsAssist with other accounting and administrative tasks as neededD. 1+ year of Accounts Payable experience preferredPrior construction industry experience a plus.Basic understanding of accounting principles and accounts payable processesHigh school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.Strong computer proficiency is a must, with a knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications.
