Job descriptionMust have a record of longevity in and commitment to veterinary medicine with a minimum of 3 years' work consecutive experience Must possess good communication skills and a positive attitude Must be able to work independently and without direct supervision Must be efficient with anesthesia, venipuncture and IV catheters Experience in performing ophthalmic diagnostic tests is a HUGE plus! Qualified candidates must be available for some evenings / weekends / holidays for rotating on call duties College or college-equivalent education as required in becoming a Certified Veterinary Technician (if applying as a CVT, which is not required for this position) Dependable attendance is required Must be willing to work long or irregular hours under pressure conditions The ability to walk, bend, stand, squat, or reach constantly during a minimum 8-hour day Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. Animal Eye Clinic is seeking an experienced Veterinary Technician for its busy, fast paced ophthalmology practice located in Jacksonville . We are looking for someone with the following qualities :
