About The Position

Job Title : Registered Nurse

Description :

The RN partners with residents and other care providers to create a safe and comfortable therapeutic environment.

Direct and indirect care is provided to residents.

Candidates will work with residents requiring specialized care.

Experience with Alzheimers and dementia residents is beneficial.

Care is tailored to meet the unique needs of each resident.

The RN will utilize both verbal and non-verbal communication techniques.

Understanding difficult behaviors associated with dementia is essential.

The Transitional Rehabilitation Unit provides short-term skilled nursing and rehabilitation services.

Nursing services include IV therapy, wound care, and geriatric assessment and management.

Strong teamwork and communication skills are required.

Flexibility is needed to cover 24 hours a day, 7 days per week.

Candidates must be willing to float to other units as needed.

An equivalent combination of education and experience may be accepted.

Holiday coverage is required.
