Senior Network Engineer

Location : Richardson, TX

Responsibilities :

• Responsible for architecting, deploying, and supporting information (IT) and operational technology (OT) solutions for a critical manufacturing site and growing business in Richardson, Texas.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deploy innovative infrastructure and software solutions to digitize and optimize semiconductor-related manufacturing and business operations.
• Provide operational support for Manufacturing and Site Network Infrastructure – both virtual and physical, primarily using Cisco-based technology to support LAN / WLAN / IOT communication methods. Migrate the site from an EWN / Global authentication model to a site-level domain controller authentication model.
• Develop and deploy new Special Use Networks (SUN) to protect and secure critical semiconductor-based manufacturing environments.
• Support and deploy infrastructure for AI-based semiconductor-centric automation, equipment integration, fault detection (FDC), and advanced process control (APC) solutions within manufacturing.
• Provide operational support for on-premises network infrastructure, spanning from SD-WAN-based corporate Enterprise-Wide Network (EWN) down to sensor-level communications below the equipment / tool layer.
