The Role :

We are seeking a talented DevOps engineer for a project based assignment. As a DevOps Engineer (AWS Focused), you'll design, implement, and maintain the infrastructure that powers our clients' cloud-native applications. You'll leverage AWS, GitLab CI / CD, and Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform and OpenTofu to create scalable, secure, and automated deployment pipelines. This role requires a hands-on engineer with a strong understanding of AWS architecture and deployment automation. You will collaborate closely with developers, architects, and project managers to ensure reliable, high-performing environments for client solutions. This position is hybrid, requiring 2 days per week onsite in Agoura Hills, CA.

Key Responsibilities :

• Design and manage scalable, secure environments on AWS (EC2, ECS / Fargate, Lambda, CloudFormation, CloudWatch).
• Build and optimize CI / CD pipelines using GitLab.
• Implement and manage Infrastructure as Code with OpenTofu and Terraform.
• Automate environment provisioning, scaling, and deployments.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and enhance cloud infrastructure for performance and cost-efficiency.
• Define and enforce security and compliance best practices (IAM, VPC, encryption, backups).
• Collaborate with software engineering teams to streamline DevOps workflows.
• Participate in on-call rotations for critical systems support.
