Patriot Missile Product Line Business And Proposal Team Member

Raytheon is seeking a highly motivated candidate to join the Patriot Missile Product Line Business and Proposal team. In this role you will work closely with the Business and Proposal Manager, supporting proposal activity, financial metrics, and best practices for program controls. In this role, you will be actively involved in finance and capture related activities to drive success from proposal development and early award through setup and long-term contract execution. Partnering with Finance, product line leadership team & functional partners will be key to ensure sound business decisions on new business strategies and program execution. Critical focus will be to ensure long-term growth, affordability and stability of the product line. You will report to the Patriot Missile Business and Proposal Manager and will work closely with the Patriot Missile Program Leads, CAMs, product line execution lead, PMO, and functional partners. You will also support new and sustaining business activities to include proposals, appropriations requests (ARs), Company Funded Requests (CFRs), and strategic planning, with a focus on product line optimization, affordability, and continuous production.

What You Will Do

  • New Business capture - Proposal development & Gate review & approval
  • Investment planning - Manage and provide oversight of investment portfolio (Capital, IR&D, NBI) for executing to strategic plan
  • Estimate at Complete (EAC), including support to program risk & opportunity management - Support the development, review and approval various program EACs with all contract types and effectively work cross-functionally to mitigate EAC risks & capture EAC opportunities
  • Support the development, implement, and maintain product line metrics for product cost, support cost model, proposal development, and NRE project cost management
  • Aid CAM activities for IPT efforts, including Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS) variance analysis, data reviewing and reporting and partnering with Finance and Program leads
  • Ensure timely and effective IPDS gate process compliance
  • Support proposal and startup activities
  • Support product line management and cadence such as IPT / CPT reviews, tech roadmap and obsolescence management, product line capacity / capability / cost, staffing reviews, EACs, and decision reviews to achieve contract commitments and promote product line growth
  • Expected to support domestic and international travel as needed

Qualifications You Must Have

  • Typically requires a Bachelor's degree and minimum 8 years of relevant experience OR an Advanced degree and a minimum of 5 years of experience is required
  • Professional experience in Business, Program, or Project management
  • Experience with proposal development
  • EVMS experience on a program or prior experience as a CAM
  • Experience with SAP and / or APEX

  • The salary range for this role is 101,000 USD - 203,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
