We're seeking an experienced Inpatient Registered Nurse (Nights) at our NEW Community Hospital in Prescott, AZ.

The Inpatient Registered Nurse is responsible for implementing all physician orders, providing for the continuity and quality nursing care for all patients, with continual evaluation of the patients' condition, providing patient safety comfort, and privacy laws.
Compensation :
Competitive Hourly Rates (DOE) + Shift Differentials $$
- Weekend days (7a-7p) : + 3.00 / hr
- Weekday nights (7p-7a) : + $7.00 / hr
- Weekend nights (7p -7a) : + $9.00 / hr
Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
Provide direct patient care, evaluate outcomes, consult with other specialists as required and adjust nursing care processes as indicated to ensure optimal patient careCommunicate with physicians about changes in patient's status, symptomatology and results of diagnostic studiesAble to respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatmentMaintain awareness of current policies and procedures which impact position responsibilitiesDemonstrate current comprehensive and professional knowledge and skills in conformation with recognized nursing standards including the Patient Bill of Rights standards for patient care and the Nurse Practice ActAble to perform a head-to-toe assessment on all patients and reassessments as per policy, including geriatric patients and the general patient populationAble to adequately assess and reassess pain, utilize appropriate pain management techniques, and educate the patient and family regarding pain managementAble to monitor hemodynamic status of patient and correctly interpret the resultsDemonstrate knowledge of cardiac monitoring to identify dysrhythmiasAble to perform waived testing (point-of-care testing) per Clinical Laboratory’s and according to patient care unit’s policies and proceduresMaintain current knowledge of medications and their correct administration based on age of the patient and his / her clinical conditionMaintain accurate and continued nursing documentation including patient histories, conditions, treatments, responses and assessment of changesPerform all aspects of patient care in an environment that optimizes patient safety and reduce the likelihood of medical / health care errorsInteract professionally with patient and family and involve patient and family in the formation of the plan of careFormulate a teaching plan based on identified learning needs and evaluate effectiveness of learning, including family in teaching as appropriateMaintain a safe, comfortable and therapeutic environment for patients and families in accordance with hospital standardsDemonstrate the values to team concept on a consistent basisPerform other duties as assignedEducation and Experience :
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing, BSN preferredMinimum of two (2) years’ experience in a hospital setting.Telemetry / ICU experience preferredCurrent Arizona Nursing License.Current CPR and ACLS required. PALS preferred.Excellent communication skills.Good organization habitsAbility to care for patients for adult to geriatric patients.Excellent teaching skills.Basic knowledge of continuous quality improvement ideology.Computer Skills :
