Setting : Medical-Surgical Adult Unit

Employment Type : Travel Nursing Contract

Start Date : November 17, 2025

End Date : February 16, 2026

Contract Duration : 13 weeks

Shifts per Week : 3

Shift : 12-hour night shifts (6 : 00pm – 6 : 30am)

Hours per Week : 36 guaranteed hours

Schedule : Every other weekend and holiday rotation required

Estimated Weekly Salary : $1990 - $2130

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited nursing program

Active Iowa RN license required

BLS & ACLS certifications (American Heart Association)

Minimum 1 year of recent Med / Surg RN experience preferred

Ability to provide proof of immunizations and health screenings

Successful completion of background checks and employment references

Completion of mandatory education modules prior to start

Med / Surg RN Responsibilities

Deliver total patient care using the nursing process : assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation

Educate patients and supervise ancillary healthcare staff

Uphold professional nursing standards in all patient interactions

Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members for optimal patient outcomes

Accurately document patient care and progress

Participate in scheduled weekend and holiday rotations
