Summary :
Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment and fixtures. Responsible for inspecting, testing, maintaining or repairing electrical equipment. Typically has vocational or trade school training, along with a high school diploma and experience with in electrical maintenance. The technical skills include knowledge of machines and blueprint reading.
Education / Experience

Measure, cut, and bend wired and conduit, using measuring instruments and hand toolsMaintain tools, vehicles, and equipment and keep parts and supplies in orderPerform semi-skilled and unskilled laboring duties related to the installation, maintenance and repair of a wide variety of electrical systems and equipmentDisassemble defective electrical equipment, replace defective or worn parts, and reassemble equipment, using hand toolsExamine electrical units for loose connections and broken insulation and tighten connections, using hand tools
