What You'll Do

In this dynamic role, you'll be responsible for performing a variety of diagnostic imaging procedures. Here’s a glimpse of your key responsibilities :

• Execute specialized and routine diagnostic radiology procedures.
• Provide a comforting presence by explaining procedures to patients, helping to ease their anxieties.
• Prepare and position patients effectively for diagnostic imaging.
• Adjust immobilization devices for optimal imaging views as requested by physicians.
• Determine exposure factors to ensure high-quality imaging results.
• Operate mobile radiology equipment in various clinical settings, including operating and emergency rooms.
• Assist qualified physicians during fluoroscopic and special x-ray examinations.
• Process and prepare images for review by radiologists.
• Maintain and troubleshoot imaging equipment, ensuring it’s always in top shape.
• Train and orient new staff and students in best practices.
• Practice radiation safety techniques to protect both patients and colleagues.
