IT & Security Manager

Location : Arlington, VA (Onsite)

Growing technology organization seeks an IT & Security Manager to lead IT infrastructure, networking, security, and compliance. This role ensures system performance, data protection, and adherence to CMMC and NIST 800-171 standards.

Responsibilities :

Oversee IT infrastructure, networking, configurations, and vendor relationships.

Implement security controls, respond to incidents, and safeguard sensitive data.

Lead CMMC compliance efforts, including documentation, audits, and training.

Provide staff support, manage equipment provisioning, OS upgrades, and security patches.

Collaborate with teams to optimize IT processes and security practices.

Qualifications :

U.S. Citizenship required.

Bachelor’s in IT, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field.

5+ years in IT management and cybersecurity.

Expertise in networking, system administration, and security tools (firewalls, VPNs, IDS / IPS).

Strong knowledge of CMMC and NIST 800-171.

Certifications : CISSP, CISM, CompTIA Security+, CCNA (or similar).

Experience with Mac OS and Apple hardware.

Preferred :

Vendor management and startup experience.

Prior CMMC implementation.

Compensation : $190,000 per year
