This position is located near Charleston, WV. Candidates will be responsible for inventory management and material handling, operating in both indoor and outdoor environments. The role involves traveling in a company vehicle and requires a valid driver's license along with an MVR. The schedule is Monday to Friday, 7 : 00 AM to 3 : 30 PM, with flexibility as needed.

Responsibilities :

• Issue material under proper authorization and maintain required records.
• Pick up, haul, and deliver materials using company vehicles.
• Check received materials for quantity and quality and process related records.
• Report irregularities and abnormal conditions.
• Identify, sort, and record returned materials, placing usable items in stock and sorting non-usable items into scrap containers.
• Operate computer terminals and printers for materials management and other office equipment.
• Prepare and pack materials for shipment or storage, adhering to safety and environmental procedures.
• Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts, hoists, and cranes.
• Assist supervisor in maintaining efficient storage of materials and inventory levels.
• Perform inventory cycle counts and process discrepancy adjustments.
• Assist other employees of equal or higher classification.
• Perform duties according to company safety rules and operating regulations.

Work Environment :

The position is primarily outdoors in a laydown yard where candidates will load and unload trucks. Work is conducted Monday through Friday from 7 : 00 AM to 3 : 30 PM, with breaks included. The work involves both team collaboration and independent tasks, often under varying weather conditions. The dress code requires steel toe boots, jeans or long pants, and a T-shirt without inappropriate images or text. PPE is provided, but candidates must supply their own side shields if wearing glasses.

Pay and Benefits :

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00 / hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
