Medical Collection Specialist

A company is looking for a Patient Collection Specialist to join their Revenue Cycle Management team.

Key Responsibilities

Ensure daily accomplishments work towards company goals for cash collections and account receivable over 90 days

Research outstanding balances and take necessary collection action to resolve issues in a timely manner

Negotiate payment plans with patients in accordance with company collection policies

Required Qualifications

High School Diploma / GED or equivalent required; some college is a plus

A minimum of one (1) year of experience in medical collections with knowledge of managed care and reimbursement

Working knowledge of automated billing systems; experience with CPR+ preferred

Solid Microsoft Office skills required, including Word, Excel, and Outlook

Ability to type 40 wpm and proficiency with 10-key calculator
