ACCOUNTING MANAGER - GLOBAL COMPANY IN DULUTH

Are you an experienced Accounting professional ready to take ownership of transactional accounting and drive process improvements in a dynamic environment? We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounting Manager to join a leading Global Finance Organization’s team.

This hybrid role will focus on managing a team of accountants, emphasizing liabilities and ensuring the timely, accurate processing of operational accounting activities to support period close and reporting. You’ll play a significant part in completing statutory and regulatory accounting across multiple entities in North America.

What You’ll Do :

• Own the end-to-end accuracy and quality of balance sheet completion while maintaining control and governance standards.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives and automation efforts to enhance finance processes and deliver value-added services.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with stakeholders to ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
• Manage team performance, enforce policies and agreements, and foster a customer-focused service culture.
• Oversee journal entry review, reconciliation approvals, and financial trend analysis for accurate monthly close cycles.
• Lead development and management of key relationships within the finance team and business partners.
• Support audit processes including external and internal audits with zero material adjustments.
• CPA or equivalent qualification required.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial reporting.
• Strong understanding of multidimensional financial systems.
• Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Hyperion, or other financial software is highly desirable.
• Solid knowledge of IFRS accounting standards.
• Background in the software or technology industry is a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
