Job Description

As an Electrician, you will lead and motivate a team, coordinating with owners and manufacturing representatives to test, troubleshoot, and commission 480V power distribution equipment. Your role involves configuring and modifying electrical systems for plant production, as well as troubleshooting and repairing 480V and 120V panels including power wiring, control wiring, PLCs, relays, and power supplies. Strong experience with low-voltage power distribution systems and proficiency with schematics and technical drawings are essential. You'll play a critical role in ensuring safety and building productive relationships on the project site.

Responsibilities

• Lead and motivate the team to achieve project goals.
• Coordinate with owners and manufacturing representatives for successful testing, troubleshooting, and commissioning of equipment.
• Test, configure, and modify electrical systems for plant production.
• Troubleshoot and repair 480V and 120V panels, including power and control wiring.
• Work with low-voltage power distribution electrical systems.
• Read and interpret schematics, technical drawings, and manuals to identify issues and repair equipment.
• Ensure safety on project sites and participate in the safety program.
• Build relationships with onsite client representatives and allied trades.
• Apply overall electrical and construction knowledge.

Work Environment

Our electricians work in data centers, industrial settings, commercial construction, and new build environments. Work hours vary depending on the project site and stage, with employees working more than 40 but no more than 60 hours per week, ensuring safety. Weekend work may be required occasionally due to the nature of construction.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Dulles, VA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $33.00 - $40.00 / hr.
