HOW YOU’LL MAKE A DIFFERENCE :

Responsible for the overall direction of the emergency department. Directs all patient care services, including nursing, and ensures adequate staffing of nursing and ancillary services personnel for the emergency department. Promotes the philosophy and objectives of the nursing practice by subscribing to and supporting Standards of Nursing Care through management of staff and resources, which is accomplished by planning, organizing, coordinating, controlling, evaluating and directing in designated patient care areas. Allocates available resources to promote efficient, effective and compassionate nursing care.

Accountabilities :

Responsible for understanding and adhering to the organization's Code of Ethical Conduct and for ensuring that personal actions, and the actions of employees supervised, comply with the policies, regulations and laws applicable to the organization's business .

WHAT YOU WILL NEED

Education :

Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.

Certification / License :

Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the team member practices.

Experience :

Typically requires 5 years of experience in emergency departments. Includes 1 year of supervisory experience in multiple areas of nursing.
