Join our team as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant dedicated to serving United States Veterans in a meaningful way! This role involves performing crucial medical assessments as part of the VA's disability benefits process, making a real difference in the lives of those who have served our country.
In this position, you will :
- Conduct focused, in-person physical exams for Veterans, reviewing their medical records electronically through a web portal.
- Document your findings electronically, ensuring all necessary details are captured accurately for review.
- Assess 3-5 Veterans each day, providing valuable insights that support their disability claims.
Important Details :
This position is strictly for performing Disability Assessments; you will not treat patients or prescribe medications.The role requires you to work in-person, one day a week from 8 AM to 5 PM.Key Attributes :
A passion for conducting independent medical assessments.Strong analytical skills to evaluate medical records and exam findings effectively.Excellent time management abilities to ensure timely assessments.A current and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license.Proficiency in computer usage for documentation and assessments.Requirements :
Must hold a valid and unrestricted NP or PA license (NCCPA accredited).Must meet credentialing requirements set forth by the VA.Benefits :
