Civil Designer I

A company is looking for a Civil Designer I to join their team remotely or on-site in Fort Lauderdale, FL.

Key Responsibilities

Transform initial sketches and rough product designs into working documents using CAD

Assist in developing and reviewing civil engineering drawings and designs for adherence to specifications and standards

Collaborate with senior staff and project managers on project issues and scope revisions

Required Qualifications

High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience required; Associate's degree preferred

Entry-level position with no prior experience required; drafting and engineering technician experience is a plus

Experience with civil engineering design software such as Civil3D and Bentley Systems

Proficiency in creating and working with TINS and 3D surfaces, as well as grading and drainage plans

Familiarity with reading construction plans is beneficial
