Your responsibilities will include conducting routine patrols throughout the assigned area, remaining a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and responding promptly to any situations that arise.

Position Type : Part Time

Pay Rate : $17.25 / Hour

Job Schedule : DayTime Thur 10 : 00 AM - 08 : 00 PM Sat 10 : 00 AM - 04 : 00 PM

What You'll Do :

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Provide customer service to clients by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing de-escalation skills as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the assigned government location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities.
  • Monitor for suspicious behavior and / or unauthorized access, reporting findings according to established protocols.
  • Assist visitors and employees with inquiries while maintaining a professional presence at the location.
  • Support access control procedures by verifying identification and credentials as required by site policies.
  • Document observations, incidents, and activities in daily reports and / or logs as directed by Allied Universal policies.
  • Collaborate with local law enforcement or emergency services when directed during critical incidents.
  • Participate in ongoing training and follow company guidelines to maintain required certifications and compliance.

  • Minimum Requirements :

  • Must possess a valid Armed Guard Card or License.
  • Having a valid Guard Card or License is preferred.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
