Security Professional - Government Patrol - Part Time

As a Security Professional - Government Patrol - Part Time in Glendale, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more.

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated government locations, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a secure environment. You will conduct routine patrols, remain highly visible, and provide outstanding customer service and communication to all visitors and staff. Position Type : Part Time

Pay Rate : $18.00 / Hour

Job Schedule :

DayTime Fri 10 : 00 AM - 06 : 15 PM Sat 10 : 00 AM - 06 : 15 PM

What You'll Do :

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and respond to emergency situations as appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to support the needs of the location.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the premises and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential issues.
  • Observe and report any security-related incidents or suspicious activity to Allied Universal management and / or local authorities as required.
  • Maintain a visible presence to help to deter unauthorized individuals from accessing restricted areas within the government location.
  • Assist visitors and employees with security-related inquiries and access procedures as needed.
  • Complete required documentation and incident reports accurately and in a timely manner.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Possess a valid Guard Card or license is preferred.
  • Be comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Have experience with access control and / or badge systems is preferred.
  • Have customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
