Job descriptionAnnual salary : above 80% percentile, including fully funded 401K plan. Generous vacation time from day one. Paid occurrence-based malpractice insurance. Paid individual or family health insurance. Paid disability insurance. Remote reading station for home when on evening call & as a backup to night service. Paid NYS medical license and hospital fees. Weekday (M-F) coverage onsite or remotely from 8 : 00 am-5 : 00 pm Night service provides preliminary reads on weekdays from 10 : 00 pm-8 : 00 am daily for all modalities Weekday call is 5 : 00 pm–10 : 00 pm for cross-sectional imaging only Saturday and Sunday call is 8 : 00 am-6 : 00 pm, then back up to night service Calls are rotated equally from day one Calls are taken from home Board Certified or Board Eligible in Radiology MD / DO Proficient in X-ray, CT, MRI, ultrasound & basic NM. Being skilled or trained in mammography is a plus (if an on-site position is accepted). No mammography coverage is required for a remote position. Board Certified or Board Eligible in Radiology. It is in the Finger Lakes region of New York State, a 9,000 square mile playground set against a backdrop of nature’s wonders : including eleven glacial lakes, one Great Lake, waterfalls, gorges, and rolling hills. Residents in the region embrace open space, fresh air, pure water, and “Mother Nature at its Best” with four distinct seasons – each beautiful in its way such that there is never a feeling of stagnancy. The town’s location and its different seasons provide a wide range of activities for the outdoor or home enthusiast. The region boasts blue lake bodies bustling with quaint waterside towns with miles of spectacular shorelines filled with local restauranteurs, wineries, breweries, and entertainment. Jet service is available at multiple nearby airports, including Rochester, Syracuse, and Elmira. Geneva is a steppingstone to the Adirondacks and Niagara Falls Region. It is known as a safe, vibrant college town with options for public and private schooling. In addition, two of the best public-school districts in the nation are approximately 30 minutes away. The internationally known Strong National Museum of Play, with its family-centered interactive exhibits, is also located a few miles away. The area is often referred to by residents and travelers alike as a ‘hidden gem’; despite its beauty and offerings, it remains affordable for housing and leisure. Residents are grateful and proud to have the scenery and recreation of the Finger Lakes in their backyard. With all its ease and options, it’s a great place to call home.
