Jim Mitchell & Jed Davis, P.A., a respected and busy general practice law firm in Augusta, seeks an on-site Consulting Attorney to support civil litigation, criminal matters, and real estate work. This role requires consistent in-office presence and close collaboration with our attorneys.

• Key Responsibilities :
• Draft motions, pleadings, and discovery documents
• Conduct legal research and case evaluation
• Assist with hearings and, if qualified, appear in court
• Maintain organized case progression and deadlines
• Communicate with clients, counsel, and internal team
• Qualifications
• Active Maine Bar license in good standing (required)
• Strong legal writing and analytical skills
• Courtroom experience strongly preferred
• Ability to manage workload independently
• Professional communication and responsiveness
• Schedule
• Minimum 20 hours per week on-site
• Immediate start available
• Compensation
• $60 – $95 per hour, depending on experience
