$2,200 to $2,406 per week

About The Position

Prepare and maintain a sterile field and back table throughout surgical procedures.

Anticipate the needs of surgeons and ensure appropriate instruments and supplies are readily available.

Assist with surgical procedures, including orthopedic, general, OB / GYN, podiatry, and urology cases.

Support colonoscopy and EGD procedures as needed.

Hold retractors or cameras for extended periods during surgical operations.

Collaborate with central supply for instrument sterilization and inventory management.

Ensure patient safety and adherence to infection control standards at all times.

Accurately document and maintain case-related records using Epic charting system .

Participate in call rotation (1–2 times per week) and occasional weekend call coverage.

Demonstrate flexibility, resilience, and strong communication skills in a fast-paced surgical environment.

Job Requirements

Education :

Completion of an accredited Surgical Technologist Program .

Successful completion of the CST certification exam .

Certifications :

BLS (Basic Life Support) – required.

CST certification / license – required.

Experience :

Minimum of 2 years of surgical technologist experience in acute care or hospital OR settings.

Strong experience in orthopedic and C-section procedures is required.

Technical Skills :

Proficient in maintaining sterile fields, surgical instrumentation, and assisting across multiple surgical specialties.

Experience with Epic EMR preferred.

Knowledge of standard surgical supplies, instruments, and sterilization processes.
