We are excited to invite a Developer Advocate Engineer to join our team and assist developers in understanding and successfully utilizing Tigris. This position focuses heavily on creating engaging content, including technical writing, code samples, documentation, and presentations, all aimed at empowering developers to leverage Tigris for their storage and architecture needs.
This hands-on, creative position requires :
- Exceptional writing skills and empathy for the developer community
- A talent for storytelling that makes complex technical concepts relatable
- Significant experience in AI / ML , as it's essential for the applications we support

Our blog is gaining traction, and we are committed to expanding our efforts. We compose detailed guides that enable developers to build real, production-ready systems rather than simple sample applications.
What you'll do
Create blog posts and technical guides that highlight engaging use casesEnhance developer documentation, onboarding workflows, and quick-start resourcesDevelop and maintain open-source examples, sample applications, and integrationsRepresent Tigris at conferences, meetups, podcasts, and online communitiesEngage with developers on platforms like Discord, GitHub, Reddit, and othersCollaborate with engineering and product teams to identify pain points and prioritize resolutionsContribute to shaping and advancing Tigris's overall developer experience strategyYou’ll know you’re succeeding if

You are a developer who enjoys teaching, writing, and helping others buildYou have experience writing technical content or documentation that developers frequently useYou are comfortable presenting talks or creating video content on technical subjectsYou have contributed to open source or enjoy collaborating in open environmentsYou are familiar with cloud infrastructure, storage systems, or distributed applicationsYou are based in the Bay Area, or are remote but willing to travel for events and conferencesYou can share 2-4 innovative ideas demonstrating how to showcase Tigris to ML / AI and data-centric companies.
