What You’ll Do
As a Home Health Physical Therapy Assistant, you’ll report to the Clinical Manager. Under general supervision of a Physical Therapist, you will perform physical therapy treatments directed toward relieving pain and / or restoring physical functions within the patient’s home.
Home Health Physical Therapy Assistant Job Responsibilities
What You Bring
You bring a basic knowledge of physical therapy techniques and theory and experience in applying these techniques. You demonstrate analytical skills necessary for evaluation of the patient’s condition in order to make accurate observations and report changes in patient behavior and performance. You demonstrate the interpersonal skills necessary to interact effectively with patients, families and staff members in a professional, courteous, friendly, sincere and understanding manner which projects a positive image.
