Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) – $46–$53 / hr | 13-Week Contract | Neptune, NJ

📍 Location : Neptune, NJ

💰 Pay : $46–$53 per hour (based on experience)

🕒 Contract Length : 13 weeks from start date

🌙 Shift : 7 : 00 PM – 7 : 30 AM | 3x12s | Weekends & holidays as needed | No on-call

🫁 Caseload : Managing 10–12 ventilators per RRT

Job Summary

The Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) , under the supervision of the Director of Respiratory Services , delivers high-quality respiratory care, utilizing advanced clinical skills, critical thinking, and expertise in cardiopulmonary management. The RRT will provide therapy, evaluation, education, and ventilator management in accordance with department policies and procedures.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Provide respiratory therapy under medical direction, including treatment, management, evaluation, and education for patients with cardiopulmonary disorders
  • Assist with intubation and perform ventilator setup & management
  • Assess and evaluate patient needs through tests, consultations, and ongoing monitoring
  • Educate patients and caregivers in a clear, supportive manner
  • Build rapport and collaborate with clinical teams to optimize outcomes
  • Accurately document care and patient teaching
  • Adhere to standards of conduct, safety, and performance
  • Perform other duties as assigned
  • Physical : Lift / push / pull minimum 5 lbs., stand ≥1 hour / day

    • Qualifications

    Required Education

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program

    • Required Licensure & Certifications

  • Current NJ Respiratory Care License
  • Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential
  • BLS (AHA)
  • ACLS
  • PALS

    • Experience

  • Minimum 2 years RRT experience preferred
  • Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced clinical environment

  • Nights : 7 : 00 PM – 7 : 30 AM
  • 3×12-hour shifts per week
  • Weekends & holidays required as needed
  • No on-call
  • Float : None
