QPS Employment Group is seeking a proactive and experienced Maintenance Inventory Specialist for a temporary assignment in Monroe, WI. This role requires someone who can work independently and take ownership of inventory-related tasks within a maintenance environment. The ideal candidate would ensure accurate and efficient tracking of parts and supplies.
Warehouse Inventory Specialist Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To :
- Maintain accurate inventory records for maintenance parts and supplies
- Perform regular cycle counts and reconcile any discrepancies
- Monitor inventory levels and identify potential shortages or excesses
- Organize, label, and ensure proper storage of inventory items
- Track and document inventory movements, including usage and restocking
- Update and maintain inventory data in the inventory management system
Warehouse Inventory Specialist Requirements :
High School Diploma or equivalent preferredAssociate degree or technical training in logistics, supply chain, or a related field preferredMinimum of 2 years of experience in inventory control, stockroom, or warehouse operationsPrior experience in a maintenance or industrial environment strongly preferredExperience in using inventory management systems and Microsoft Excel is requiredProven ability to work independently and manage time effectivelyStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsExperience with inventory control or stockroom operations, preferably in a maintenance or industrial settingFamiliarity with inventory management software or Excel-based tracking systemsStrong problem-solving skills and the ability to take initiativeStrong organizational and time management skills with the ability to work independentlyHigh attention to detail with a focus on accuracy in record-keepingFamiliarity with inventory tracking systems, ERP software, or spreadsheet-based trackingAbility to perform regular cycle counts and resolve inventory discrepanciesBasic understanding of maintenance parts and supplies is a plusEffective communication and documentation skillsProactive and self-motivated with strong problem-solving abilitiesAbility to push, pull, and lift a minimum of 50 lbsAbility to stand and perform repetitive tasks for up to 10 hoursComfortable working in varying temperatures (hot and cold environments)Ability to reach overhead and perform physical tasks as required in a fast-paced environmentmonroe@qpsemployment.com IND038
