You’ll manage general ledger reconciliations, analyze financial data, and support monthly and quarterly closes to ensure accuracy and compliance. Location / Schedule :

This role is based at our Salt Lake City Headquarters with a 4-day hybrid in-office schedule.

Position Summary & Day-to-Day Responsibilities :

The Staff Accountant supports daily accounting functions, manages reconciliations, and contributes to month-end and year-end close processes.

• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts.
• Conduct cash management reconciliations, transfers, and reporting.
• Prepare and post journal entries for month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close.
• Perform account trend analysis and store-level report reviews to identify discrepancies.
• Process, update, and maintain accrual reporting.
• Analyze and interpret financial data to support accurate reporting and insights.
• Maintain strong relationships with bank representatives and internal finance partners.

Compensation & Benefits

Pay Range : $58,900 – $72,700 / year + DOE and Bonus Opportunities

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Maverik considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers, such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate’s experience, education, skills, and current market conditions.
