The Engineering Manager is responsible for the efficiency and results of one or more Agile Teams within a value stream. This role requires a combination of technical expertise as well as thoughtful people leadership. This is a crucial role to ensure the digital transformation ongoing within ABG is successful.

The technology stack for this role is Java, API Management, AWS Cloud, ReactJS, and NodeJS. Adobe Experience Manager would be a plus.

What You'll Do :

• Lead, mentor, and grow a team of ~20 engineers (frontend, backend, and API specialists).
• Accountability for your team's results, including velocity, quality, service monitoring, etc
• Collaborate with Product Managers, Architects, and Designers to align technical goals with business outcomes.
• Acting as the point of contact for the L3 support, and owning the resolution.
• Driving the engineering hiring plan for the team, including screening and interviewing.
• Working within an Agile framework, with a focus on results over process.
• Reducing complexity both of system designs and of team communication.
• Coaching and code reviews for team members.
• Drive performance reviews, career development, and team engagement.

Benefits You'll Receive :

The annual starting salary for this position is between $120,000 - $160,000 annually. Factors that may affect starting pay within this range include geography / market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
