Job Summary : This role involves delivering direct patient care in Labor and Delivery, Recovery, and Post-Partum units. The nurse will assess and plan individualized care, communicate clinical changes to physicians, and respond promptly to patient condition changes. Responsibilities include general nursing duties in Labor and Delivery and Mother / Baby departments, with occasional support in Acute Care, Outpatient, and Emergency settings.
Essential Functions :
Education : Associate Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
Licensure and Certifications : Active RN license (Washington State or eligible compact license), current BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP certifications, AWHONN Intermediate EFM certification, and STABLE certification within 12 months as required.
Experience : Minimum of one year recent experience in Labor and Delivery or Newborn Nursery preferred.
Professional Requirements : Maintain regulatory compliance, punctuality, and adherence to organizational ethics and goals. Demonstrate courteous and respectful communication with patients, guests, and staff.
