Job description

Position : Certified Substance Abuse Counselor (CSC-AD)

Employment Type : Full-Time

Compensation : $32-$36 / hour

Overview

Healthcare Recruiters International is actively seeking a dedicated Certified Substance Abuse Counselor to join a behavioral health organization that prioritizes ethical, client-centered care. This exciting role offers a dynamic combination of remote flexibility and essential clinical engagement in individual and group therapy settings.

Core Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive intake assessments and provide ongoing counseling to clients.
  • Facilitate engaging group therapy sessions as needed.
  • Design, implement, and regularly review individualized treatment plans tailored to client needs.
  • Document all sessions and client progress in compliance with COMAR and agency standards.
  • Collaborate closely with the Clinical Director for supervision and professional development.

Qualifications

  • Must possess a current CSC-AD certification in good standing.
  • Demonstrated experience in conducting assessments, counseling, and maintaining thorough documentation.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills are essential.
  • Familiarity with regulatory standards, including COMAR, is preferred.
