PACU RN Job Details Location : Wichita, Kansas (zip 67214) – Kansas nursing jobs Healthcare Setting : Pre-Op and Phase 2 Recovery Unit Assignment Duration : 13 weeks (Start : 12 / 30 / 2025 – End : 3 / 31 / 2026) Shift : 5 : 00 AM – 5 : 00 PM (12-hour day shifts) Hours per Week : 36 Estimated Weekly Salary : $1470–$1570 Employment Type : Travel RN, On-Site PACU Registered Nurse Qualifications Active Registered Nurse (RN) license – required for all PACU nursing jobs Current ACLS and BLS certifications Minimum 1 year of recent experience as a PACU RN or in Phase 2 recovery Ability to take call and remain within 30 minutes of the hospital (Wichita healthcare jobs) Experience with Pyxis, GE MACVU EKG machine, Doppler, patient scale, and bladder scanner preferred Familiarity with Meditech EMR is a plus PACU RN Responsibilities Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients in Pre-Op and Phase 2 Recovery settings Monitor and assess patients recovering from urology, GYN, same-day surgery (SDS), and other procedures Assist with preoperative preparation for surgery, endoscopy, cath lab, EP, CT, outpatient infusions, EKGs, blocks, and blood transfusions Maintain accurate documentation and utilize EMR systems (Meditech experience preferred) Collaborate with a dedicated team of RNs and healthcare professionals Adhere to unit guidelines and hospital policies to ensure patient safety and satisfaction Enjoy a well-equipped unit featuring advanced technology and a supportive staff.
